A representation of the Irish Wild Geese, a reference to the Irish diaspora that has led to the historical dispersion of the Irish people to other parts of the world. Like the geese, they have migrated away but they love to return to their homeland, even if only in their hearts. Patterned after an antique brooch, with added knotwork.

A wolf sanctuary volunteer took a paw print of his own personal wolf-dog hybrid and I added Celtic knotwork. Now on his own foot, they walk together the road of life.

Ragnarok Wolf Brothers
The Nordic Viking wolves Sköll and Hati, the sons of Fenrir and grandsons of Loki. Sköll and Hati chase the horse-drawn chariots of Sól and Máni, the personified sun and moon respectively, every day and night until they finally catch them, marking the onset of Ragnarök.
