Celtic 'DreamCatcher Knot' Tattoo

Today a woman with a Cherokee Grandmother and Irish heritage on her other side melded them together in this custom knot on her shoulder. Something borrowed from each, and combined into something as unique as she is.

'St. Brendan Band' Celtic Tattoo

Today a returning client asked for a band to enhance the cross I did on her ankle a decade ago. We chose the St Brendan band, with selective coloring so it is more like bright links in a chain than a full cuff.

A band that looks like rolling waves from an ancient illuminated manuscript describing the adventures of Saint Brendan.

'Nodo Firmo' Celtic Knot Leg Tattoo

Today saw the third session and completion of this custom Celtic knotwork leg wrap. His family crest has the central square knot, so we placed it proudly front and center and wove it into the rest of the knotwork pattern. Celtic tribal work, as dynamic as the large scale work of the Oceanic peoples.

Poppy & Lupine Dedication Tattoo

Today's tattoo is a dedication, a duplicate of one I did 15 years ago on a woman who sadly passed away this week. Her dear friend took the photo shown in the oval, as she lay in hospice, and I retrieved the original line art from my files. Now the memory of their closeness is commemorated by sharing the same image.
