Celtic 'Duleek Knot' Tattoo

When I moved my studio several years ago I promised this fellow a tattoo for helping me. Ever since then he did a dance of uncertainty, just couldn't make up his mind what he wanted to get. Finally, the debt is cleared, he now proudly wears the Duleek knot and it is just right.

'Cycle of Change' Celtic Tattoo

Today a woman who had carefully done her homework to find her favorite symbolic Celtic designs traveled a far distance to get this tattoo. Combining several elements to create a new original pattern, she is celebrating her own change into her new status as a tattooed woman.

Transforming Breast Cancer Scar With Dandelion Tattoo

Today a woman with mastectomy scars came to have them transformed into beauty. She opted not to have an implant, so we had an area of bunched up skin and tissue to design on. She chose a dandelion, and I formed the shapes to work in flow with the lines of the scars.

Celtic 'Hope Knot' Coverup Tattoo

Today a woman with a poorly done star tattoo came in for an upgrade. It was a small nautical star with the blue/black sections inaccurately rendered, it had to GO! Was she doomed to look at it forever? Certainly not! I placed a Celtic knot on top of it, coloring it with a deep blue green and also a pinstripe of a lighter green, and she is happy! Tattoos ARE forever, but there is no reason to be resigned to your fate that you must wear a poor one. There is always hope for better.
