Tattoos can serve as manhood rituals, marking a rite of passage into adulthood. In this family the men get this D in a triangle representing a triangular piece of land on their ranch as their tattoo brand. Here we see the Uncle holding his Nephew on the right when he was a tiny baby, and I've been doing tattoos so long I've actually tattooed the Grandfather, Father, Uncle and several brothers. The last brother is now of age and his Mom has sent a deposit so he'll be one of the first clients when I get back to work in a couple of weeks! TRADITION !
