OK, back to my ongoing mission of embellishing our military with body armor. This young Marine officer had the dagger and triquetra done several years ago by someone in South Carolina, so today we expanded it to a 1/4 sleeve that now includes continuous knotwork that forms a full band underneath to connect seamlessly on his inner arm. Sharp eyes will be able to compare the yellow triquetra with the repaired green one...... in the original the weave does not follow over-under-over, as is necessary for the pattern not to unravel. Makes me crazy! Fortunately as part of today's custom background I was also able to rework the triquetra, shade it to hide the repairs, and give it a new color. NOT easy!
