Two Celtic dogs form a band, with their faces snarling in the front and their tails linked in the back to form a continuous knotwork. A perfect way to add both zoomorphic animals and intricate knots to an arm or ankle.
Earth Day BEE DAY
Twelve years ago I helped the local bee club with an Earth Day display, placing decal temporary tattoos on the crowds. Imprinting the youth of Santa Barbara .... they WILL want a tattoo when they are old enough! One bee at a time!

Happy Electrical Outlet
When this nurse underwent chemotherapy treatment for breast cancer she was left with a scar where the port had been placed. Her clever request was for an electrical outlet in the scar location. Now a mark of survival.
Breast Cancer Scars Transformation
A breast cancer survivor from Iowa asked a tattooist in Virginia to cover her implant scars with Celtic patterns but was dissatisfied with the result. So she came to me and yesterday we added new symbols to celebrate her survival, and give her strength. We added a luna moth, maidenhair fern, California poppies, a red tail hawk feather, the Newgrange triple spiral, and more spirals to fill. In the Fall she will return and we will color it all and make a tapestry.
