Gecko Tribal Tattoo Design

The ancient forms of Polynesian tattoos are here shaped to fit the silhouette of a gecko, crawling up the surface to suggest that it is traveling across the skin. A highly graphic tribal design, this tattoo is the modern style equivalent of the ever-popular crawling panther of WWII days. 

Tibetan Eternal Knot Tattoo Design

One of the eight auspicious symbols of Buddhism, the Eternal Knot is visually very similar to the Celtic knotworks. It brings prosperity and good fortune to all. This is the Tibetan version, with sacred scarves billowing around it and a lotus below.

The noble wolf, favorite totem animal of warriors, in a new shield tattoo. An oval ring of Pictish key patterning from the 9th century Maiden Stone in Aberdeenshire, Scotland, surrounds the wolf paw print pattern of my own devising with a central triskele.
