Valiant 3/4 Sleeve Tattoo Design

I declare this Celtic body armor sleeve just completed to be my favorite tattoo of 2025. May many similarly ambitious clients find their way to me in 2026 !

Body armor for filling the full arm that already has a pre-existing tattoo at the top. The knotwork has been morphed to encircle and complete.

Knot Dragonfly Tattoo Design

Last tattoo of 2025.
A simple graceful dragonfly formed of looping knots, representing the traditional symbolic meaning of a dragonfly: embracing change and finding joy and lightness in life.

Norse Metal Brooch Dragon Tattoo Design

A classic Nordic Viking dragon and serpent twine together to make a symmetric shape, copied from an ancient metal piece of jewelry. A very strong ethnic statement.

Nordic Viking Urnes Deer Tattoo Design

Inspired by the magnificent carvings in the Urnes Stave Church in Norway, this half sleeve piece weaves a deer and sea-serpent-like creatures in a tangle of foliage. The design I based this art on is the North Portal, from the original 11th century church, reused when the church was reconstructed in the 12th century. One of the interpretations of the design is that the stag is eating the bark of the ONE WORLD TREE (Yggdrasil) where the serpent Nithog lived and nibbled on its roots. A powerful Viking tattoo.
