A tattoo tribute to the K9 soldiers who serve beside their handlers in war and peace. Whose strength of heart and brave willingness to rise to the occasion set an example for all who defend honor. Two mighty dog warriors flank a knotted triquetra.
Wheel of Friendship Tattoo with Celtic Design
Taken from a tiny marginal illustration in an ancient manuscript, this Celtic knotwork circle repeats a pattern that represents how the complex lives of friends come together and intertwine and then go back out from that woven center strong and whole. A tattoo for the ages.
Skeletal Gadsden Tattoo Design
One of my favorite political symbols is the Gadsden Flag, established in 1775 and bearing the motto "Don't Tread on Me." In conversations with an excellent patriotic client I came up with the idea of rendering it in a skeletal form, and this tattoo is the result. We chose to encircle it with both the original text and "Nemo me impune lacessit" which is on the royal coat of arms of the Kingdom of Scotland and translates in the Scots language to: "Wha daur meddle wi me?"
