Mysterious Pictish glyphs on the Brandsbutt stone, located in Inverurie, Aberdeenshire, Scotland. The carvings date to around 600AD, and represent a crescent and V-rod above a river eel and z-rod.

This petroglyph silhouette of a California condor graces the ceiling of one such cave near Santa Barbara and makes a strikingly powerful tattoo.
