A memorial for two beloved parents whose lives together were as two trees twined to become one. This daughter asked that we unite an apricot and a plum, and I encircled them with a Celtic knot work oval and wove the lines together into one.

The photos show the tattoo that had one band done 10 years before, then the top and bottom added. A fulfillment of a vision. This woman lost a trisomy baby at birth, and in dreams she comes back to her mother as a spirit bear, a loving polar bear. We placed her on a Celtic crescent moon, with icebergs, reaching out to comfort her. I love my job, bringing heart felt visuals to life in skin.
