Today one of the last women to see active duty in the WACs, Womens Army Corps, came in to get this badge of honor. With her 4 years active and many years reserve after that, she well earned the right to wear the bust of Pallas Athena, the goddess of wisdom, courage, inspiration, civilization, law and justice, mathematics, strength, war strategy, the arts, crafts, and skill. We placed her within a Greek key pattern to make the tattoo a shield of victory.

Today a collector expanded his coverage by beginning to build a backpiece with this custom knot work. Working with the musculature, and his preference for shapes evoking wings, we designed and installed a cap for what will evolve in the future.

Today a woman asked for this sacred pattern on her thigh. The circular center is the design found on the cover of the Chalice well in the heart of the amazing site of religious pilgrimage in Glastonbury, England. The tower known as Glastonbury Tor rises high above the surrounding landscape, and at its foot is the Chalice Well, where some believe the holy Grail was placed by Joseph of Aramathea. Centuries of believers have journeyed to see the well, and drink from the waters there. The sword represents life, piercing the cosmos in the moment of becoming.
