fac·to·tum (făk-tō'təm) n. An employee or assistant who serves in a wide range of capacities. [Medieval Latin factōtum : Latin fac, imperative of facere, to do + Latin tōtum, everything, from neuter of tōtus, all.] Hello, I'm ColinFraser. No, I won't be installing your tattoo, but chances are that I will be part of your tattoo experience, especially if you are brave enough for a large custom piece . . . ![]() Enjoying the atmosphere at Avebury, UK I am intimately involved in most aspects of LuckyFish Inc. and Tattoo Santa Barbara and have been working with Pat for many years. I do not install tattoos myself, nor am I an apprentice. Pat and I work together to create everything from custom tattoos to this website. Once you make an appointment to come in and get your tattoo, it is possible that you will want to drop by in advance to consult a bit about your design, or even begin the process of designing a large custom piece. Either way, Pat will probably be in gloves tattooing another client, so I will act as her extra set of hands and we'll spend some time beginning the process, with Pat's input (looking up from the task at hand) as necessary. I'll be glad to aid you in your search through our archives for the perfect design or elements of your custom tattoo. The hats that I wear (and/or share with Pat): Tattoo Art Consultation and Design Pre-press Image Manipulation and Licensing/Marketing Organization Computer Tech and Webmaster Fish Tank Maintenance Pre-Needle Logistics Really, it boils down to this: the large overlap of my expertise with Pat's allows her to concentrate on the things that only she can do (i.e. installing amazing Celtic Tattoos) while increasing overall productivity by allowing other things she would normally be doing to get done simultaneously via me. Together, Pat and I are the "LuckyFish Octopus", smart, many-armed, and massively multitasking . . . ![]() My Celtic Foot Tattoo (unfinished) as featured in Skin Deep Tattoo Magazine | |||
